What OnHand Home does

OnHand Home helps homeowners find independent local professionals and arrange home services. We do not perform the work ourselves.

Cost

There is no charge for our help arranging a service. You pay the provider for the work under the price and terms you agree with them.

Providers

Providers are independent businesses. Each provider is responsible for its work, its prices, and any warranty it offers. We tell you who the provider is before you agree to an introduction or appointment request.

Appointments

An appointment request is not a booking. The appointment is confirmed only when the provider confirms it.

Not an emergency service

OnHand Home is not an emergency service. If anyone is in danger, call 911.

Availability

Services, providers, and coverage change. Listing a category on this site does not promise that a provider is available.

Liability

Our help is free and is given as is. We do not perform the work. We are not responsible for a provider's work, prices, schedule, damage, or warranty. Your agreement for the work is with the provider.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages. To the fullest extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim about our help is 100 US dollars.

These limits do not apply to our fraud, gross negligence, or willful misconduct. Nothing in these terms takes away a right that the law does not let you give up by agreement, including your rights under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices-Consumer Protection Act.

Governing law

The laws of the State of Texas govern these terms, without regard to conflict-of-law rules.

Any dispute about these terms or our help goes to the state courts in Williamson County, Texas, or the federal courts for the Western District of Texas, Austin Division. You can still use a justice court (small claims) where the law allows it.
