How it works
Three steps, all by text.
Tell me what needs doing.
Send a text. Add a photo if it helps. You don’t need to know which trade you need.
We work out the next step.
You learn who the provider is, what the job covers, and the price or diagnostic fee before you agree to go ahead.
Get it arranged.
We coordinate the request with the provider and check in with you after the work is done.
Appointment requests need confirmation from the provider. A time is booked only when they confirm it.
What we help with
From a dripping faucet to a garage door that won’t open.
Small jobs are welcome. Every request starts with me. We’re building a network of local professionals in Round Rock, so I’ll tell you honestly whether we can help before you commit to anything.

Questions
Good questions, straight answers.
Is OnHand Home free?
Yes. There is no charge for our help finding a professional and arranging the service.
You pay the professional for the work they do, at the price you agree with them before they start.
Do I need an account?
No. There is nothing to sign up for and no app to download. Send a text and we take it from there.
Who performs the work?
An independent local professional does the work. OnHand Home does not employ the technicians.
You will know the name of the business doing the work before you agree to an introduction or an appointment request.
What kinds of jobs can I ask about?
Almost anything around the house, big or small. A dripping faucet, a shelf, a stuck garage door, a deep clean, or something unusual.
Not sure who you need? Describe the problem. If we cannot help, I will tell you straight.
Do you cover my area?
We are starting in Round Rock, Texas. If you are not sure whether your address counts, ask. I will tell you straight.
Can I book online?
Start with a text. For some services, a provider may offer an online appointment request. When they do, the link appears on that service.
A requested time is a request, not a booking, until the provider confirms it.
Will I know the price upfront?
Before you agree to anything, you will know the price, the diagnostic or call-out fee, or that the job needs a quote first.
Some jobs cannot be priced until a professional sees them. If extra paid work comes up, it needs your approval before it starts.
Is my appointment confirmed immediately?
No. The provider confirms the appointment. You get a confirmation once they do.
What happens if something goes wrong?
Text me. I will help you raise it with the provider and follow up until there is a clear next step.
The provider is responsible for their work and for any warranty they offer. OnHand Home does not add its own workmanship guarantee.
Can you help with emergencies?
OnHand Home is not an emergency service, and a text may not be seen right away.
If anyone is in danger, call 911. If you smell gas, leave the house and call your gas company from outside.
